GET SET... GO TO THE CINEMA!!!
Theres not long left now to get a taste of whats on offer at the
Trieste Film Festival. Even if the Anglo-Saxons among us managed to
bring some rain with them, thats no excuse not to come out and see us.
Amidst this tempest of festival fun youll find a little bit of
everything and get to know a little bit of everyone. What better reason
to get over here? After all, when are you going to get another chance
like this to meet, greet at gawp at such a multi-faceted mix of
directors, actors and artists? And its not just the hoi-polloi of the
film biz; there are the pre-film presentations, the daily Q&As, the
aperitivis... all of which have been a great success. Then, of course,
theres a plethora of cinema aficionados and fanatics who never miss a
chance to chew the fat; whether outside the cinema, over an aperitivo at
Viale39, over dinner...

Trieste. Youll find some magnificent cinematographic and musical dates
for your diary.
In particular: at 8pm dont miss the Mexican marvel of a musician,
Murcof in concert, with his eclectic musical mélange of electro,
classical and digital sounds, pulled tightly together by the
installation of video-art. Mercof will be accompanied by XX+XY
Visuals, the visual artists who create the video compositions which
accompany the music.
Have a good rummage in your wardrobe, pick out you slickest slacks and
get yourself looking dapper. As the activity is varied, the locations
are various, from the Excelsior cinema, to the Ariston, to the Teatro
Miela...
