Annem sinema öğreniyor (My Mother Learns Cinema) Nesimi Yetik, Turkey;
for it’s simple purity and natural sense of humour. This tribute to cinema is a wonderful example of how, to make a great film it is more important to have big passion than a big budget. This film also carries an important moral message: the audience should always stay until the end of the closing credits! |

For the sensitivity and strength with which the director tells of a long moment in the life of of various characters, floating their days away; and for their ability in using cinematography to express such a painful and suffocating situation. |
