CONTROCORRENTE #2

The author continues her artistic research built on the concept of territory. “Territory as a whole, as an ‘Elsewhere’ which I explore on foot and while travelling, but also in approaching the Other, which I stimulate in order to discover its universe. Inspired by ‘La lunga strada di sabbia’, which described a journey made by Pier Paolo Pasolini in 1959, I followed this path in the opposite direction, starting from Trieste and from the region of his childhood. Along the road and in casual encounters, I discovered the situations described and I interpreted them as an artist and as a woman of today; always very close to the beings, as Pasolini loved to do.”
