The closing film of the 26th Trieste Film Festival will be: “WARSAW 44″ – A story of love, youth and fight. A story of love, friendship and the pursuit of adventure during the bloody and brutal reality of the 1944 Warsaw Uprising. The biggest production of the Polish cinematography in 2014 with a budget of 5.8 million euro. The 32-year-old director has been tipped as one of the brightest young talents in the Polish film industry. Special effects for Warsaw 44 were fine-tuned by Hollywood specialist Richard Bain, who worked on such movies as Peter Jackson’s King Kong, Christopher Nolan’s Inception and Terry Gilliam’s The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus.
