Storie, luoghi e itinerari dell’Europa di mezzo (Discovering the Balkans. 2nd ed. Stories, places and itineraries of Central Europe)' (Cierre Edizioni) and the study-tour in Albania. A meeting with Leonardo Barattin, Tiziana Masola and Iva Scarpa, collaborators of “Viaggiare i Balcani” and “Mozaik”, two historic partners of “Varcare la frontiera”.

"BIANCO E NERO" FILM MAGAZINE OF THE CENTRO SPERIMENTALE DI CINEMATOGRAFIA SPECIAL ISSUE DEDICATED TO ALIDA VALLI
Alida Valli, born in Pula, was a star who conquered Italy, Europe and America; Oriana Fallaci wrote that her face was “the face of Europe: so tired, yet so alive; so bitter, yet so sweet”. The issue of Bianco e Nero edited by Mariapia Comand and Stephen Gundle, looks back at Alida Valli’s life and work, using the actress’ extraordinary personal archive with its precious, previously unseen documents. The publication is presented by Mariapia Comand, Italian cinema scholar and co-ordinator of the Department of performing Arts, jointly run by the Universities of Udine and Trieste.
