The protagonist of Picturesque Epochs is Mária Gánóczy (1927) a painter and a lm a cionado who comes from a family of female artists as far as her great- grandparents. Gánóczy’s lms and painting immortalised the checkered history of Central Europe. Another masterpiece of Péter Forgács mostly built on private archives.
