After the 1968 rebellion, four students, inspired by the early works of Karl Marx, go on a road trip to visit villages in Yugoslavia and talks to peasants about socialism and emancipation. In his debut feature, Žilnik used a theatrical, Godard-like style, in acting and composition, with early avant-garde inter-titles, revolutionary songs and Marx/Engels articles read aloud.
