Trieste Film Festival and WEMW present LAST STOP TRIESTE, a work in progress section for documentary projects in a stage of a FINE CUT, previously developed/presented in one of our partners platform:  Ex-Oriente Film Workshop, BDC Discoveries, Docu Rough Cut Boutique, Baltic Sea Docs, ZagrebDox PRO, When East Meets West.

Selected documentary fine cuts are screened in Trieste in January to an exclusive panel of approximately 40 international sales agents, festival programmers and TV commissioning editors with the aim of enhancing their potential of being selected at top festivals and their chances of distribution, as well as getting valuable feedback. An international jury will deliver the special HBO EUROPE award and the FLOW Digital Cinema Award to the best projects.

Last Stop Trieste is organised by the Trieste Film Festival and the Friuli Venezia Giulia Audiovisual Fund, with the support of Creative Europe MEDIA Programme, CEI – Central European Initiative, MiBACT – Direzione Cinema and the Autonomous Region of Friuli Venezia Giulia.

The project coordinator is Rada Šešić, Programmer of the Sarajevo Film Festival.
