LEGENDARY: A WORKSHOP OF EPIC PLOTS AND LEGENDARY TALES

Trieste provides the perfect set. It has beauty, magic, landscapes, legends and secrets. The stories it can inspire are many and of all genres: unlucky ladies turned into rocks, princesses so desperate they cry a river of tears, the king of winds and his mischievous daughter Bora… we will play at inventing an epic, with an intricate, imaginative plot, and drawn an ideal map of where to shoot our film.
The beginning will be evocative, with a daytime exterior in Via della Pescheria: there is an old fishmonger’s shop, with a stone bench and baskets of the day’s catch. There is an immediate twist: one night, the cold fishmonger, reaching between a mackerel and a squid, hauled out a mermaid…
