Vivid portraits of old people from the Slovak regions of Liptov and Orava, who live in inner freedom despite the surrounding civilizational chaos. Inspired by the photographs by Martin Martinček, Dušan Hanák used his genuine sensitivity in his portrayal of his truly unique characters, their original attitudes towards life, and their admirable innocence.
