WORLD PREMIERE

Zora’s life with her grandmother Mirjana and great grandmother Luce is interrupted when family members arrive to claim their inheritance. As Luce is confronted with her children’s demands, Zora seeks out her great grandmother to escape the chaos.

“Plima began as an exploration of a young girl’s relationship to her great grandmother and the land… While death is never openly discussed among the family members, Zora’s new understanding of her great grandmother’s mortality ultimately fuels her decision to flee to the natural world together.” (E. Eva Vidan
Eva Vidan is a Croatian-American director, graphic designer, and photographer. Currently a Film MFA candidate at Columbia University, Vidan has worked as a designer and photographer in the U.S. and Europe since 2015. Plima is Vidan’s debut short film.
