ITALIAN PREMIERE

At the end of the summer, while preparations for an air show are taking place in the sky, a man and a woman go to the water. But the arrival of a legendary aerobatic pilot will not be the event of the day for them. The film premiered at the Locarno Film Festival in 2022.

“I had an idea for a short film. Then I moved with my family to a new environment for a while. I walked a lot along the new paths and so my idea slowly merged with the new landscape. The film is the result of this encounter.” (M. Ivanišin)

Matjaž Ivanišin 
Matjaž Ivanišin was born in 1981 in Maribor, Slovenia. In 2000 he attended the Academy of Theater, Radio, Film and Television in Ljubljana to study film and TV directing. Since graduation he has been working as a freelance filmmaker. The Trieste FF presented in 2018 his documentary Playing Men, and in 2020 his feature film Oroslan.
