TSFF PRESENTS MOMBAO live

The Trieste Film Festival (21-30 January 2022) presents Mombao: a duo of synthesizers, drums and voices composed of Damon Arabsolgar and Anselmo Luisi. Theirs is an immersive project in which the two performers mix folk songs from different cultures with their own original pieces, written in several languages. Live, the musicians, covered in clay and body paint, give life to a performance halfway between a rock concert and a primordial mystical ritual in which the audience is led through states of listening, concentration and liberating dance.
