VR EXPERIENCE: M.I.R.A. MORANDINI

da un’idea di Gabriele Pitacco con il supporto dell’associazione S@NGIORGIO 2020

M.I.R.A. Morandini is the acronym for Immersive Museum in Augmented Reality and transforms every 50 square meters room in a virtual museum with more than 5 floors.
M.I.R.A. Morandini is dedicated to the work of the poet and intellectual Luciano Morandini and – in the new staging – to the many relationships he had with a lot of Italian and international poets and intellectuals such as Fulvio Tomizza.
M.I.R.A. Morandini collects traditional and innovative artworks and copies, through which you can walk and move freely, without any cables or sensors.
M.I.R.A. Morandini is visitable by wearing the last generation viewer Oculus Quest and is – at the same time – an exhibition, a virtual museum and a performance.

The prototype is part of the project “Hacking real space” financed by the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region on the European Fund Announcement POR FESR FVG 2014-2020, Action 2.1b.2 “Granting of subsidies for the financing of customised business acceleration and consolidation programmes, aimed at the entrepreneurial development of projects with cultural value, addressed to cultural and creative enterprises”.
