Infrangere le regole: per un piccolo spacciatore non è possibile. Primo: non fidarsi di nessuno. Secondo: non farsi mai vedere con un poliziotto. Terzo: non fare favori a nessuno, specialmente ai tossici senza soldi. E anche la tua famiglia ha delle regole: se vuoi stare con la tua donna, con tuo figlio dovrai promettere di farla finita e smettere di spacciare. Oppure decidi di infrangerle, le regole, qualsiasi esse siano. Allora perderai in fretta gli amici, la libertà, la tua famiglia. Questa è la storia di Dealer. Jale ne ha abbastanza: il suo ragazzo Can, padre di suo figlio, promette sempre di uscire dal giro. Invece continua la sua carriera di piccolo criminale ed è fedele ad Hakan, il boss del quartiere, anche se il poliziotto Erdal gli sta sempre tra i piedi e cerca di strapparli informazioni preziose. Hakan lo protegge, Can è il suo uomo migliore. Un giorno gli promette di dargli in gestione un bar. Can felice, annuncia la buona notizia alla sua ragazza. Non era quello che si aspettava da lui? Smettere di spacciare, avere un lavoro normale. Ma Jale non si lascia impressionare. Perché mai un gangster come Hakan dovrebbe aiutarlo?
Breaking the rules for a small dealer is not an option. Number one: trust no-one. Number two: never be seen with a cop. Number three: don't do anyone any favours, especially penniless addicts. And your family has rules too: if you want to keep your woman and your son, you have to promise you'll put an end to it and stop dealing. Or else you decide to break the rules, whatever they are. And then you'll quickly lose your friends, your liberty, your family. This is the story of Dealer. Jale has had enough: her boyfriend, Can, her child's father, is always promising to get out of the business. And instead he goes on with his career as a small-time crook and is faithful to Hakan, the district boss, even though Erdal, the cop, is always around, trying to get some useful information out of him. Hakan protects him: Can is his best man. One day, he promises him he'll give him a bar to run. Delighted, Can gives his girlfriend the good news. Wasn't that what she wanted from him? To stop selling, to have a proper job? But Jale is not duped. Why should a crook like Hakan help him out? |
