Un lavoro lungo due anni e una particolare tecnica d’animazione hanno dato vita a questo omaggio ai classici hollywoodiani: un excursus lungo tutta la Storia del cinema, dal muto fino ai giorni nostri. 65.000 immagini, tratte da 300 film, sono state modificate fino a diventare oggetti di carta, veri e propri origami in forma di vagoni, treni, aerei, macchine. Fotografate con una macchina digitale sono state poi trasferite su computer e mescolate, diventando i frammenti che danno vita a una trama classica da film d’azione.

Two years of work and a special animation technique have brought to life this homage to the Hollywood classics: an excursus through the history of cinema, from silent films right up to the present day. 65,000 images drawn from 300 films were modified to form paper objects, origami in the form of aeroplanes, trains and cars. Photographed using a digital camera, they were then transferred to computer and mixed, becoming the fragments that give life to this classic action-film plot. |
