Jonuc č quasi un adulto, č dovuto crescere in fretta, in condizioni dure, prima in un orfanotrofio poi in strada. E' uno zingaro' rumeno mandato in Ungheria con un falso passaporto, č uno dei tanti ragazzini sfruttati dal racket organizzato dagli zingari, messi a elemosinare agli angoli delle strade. Nonostante sia senza una gamba si muove ancora agilmente, corre e danza. Arrestato a Budapest, viene espulso e rispedito in Romania. Ed č proprio durante questo viaggio di ritorno che comincia a raccontare la triste storia della sua vita…
Jonuc is almost an adult, having had to grow up quickly in harsh conditions: first in an orphanage, and then in the street. He is a Romanian 'gypsy' sent to Hungary with a false passport. He is one of the many children exploited by the racket organised by gypsies and sent to beg at street corners. Despite being without a leg, he moves with agility and can run and dance. Arrested in Budapest, he is expelled and sent back to Romania. It is during this journey back that he begins to tell the sorry tale of his life… |
