È bionda, dura e inavvicinabile: la femme fatale dei vicoli del quartiere Wedding a Berlino. Sulle sue palpebre pesa un’indifferenza che sarebbe facile scambiare per noia, se non fosse per quella durezza di linguaggio e la fredda determinazione a trattar male chiunque si trovi sulla sua strada... E con la stessa aggressività esce a divertirsi, ma una delle sue ‘folli corse’ finisce in un incidente. Così il giudice minorile la condanna a prestare servizio sociale in una casa famiglia per disabili. Lei trova che la punizione sia esagerata per una ragazza come lei. Ma Kroko (‘coccodrillo’ in tedesco) scoprirà presto che c’è qualcosa negli “handicappati” di cui lei, nella sua vita di tutti i giorni, non si era mai accorta…
She’s blond, she’s tough, and she’s untouchable: the femme fatale of Berlin-Wedding’s backstreets. Coolness weighs heavily on Kroko’s eyelids. It could be mistaken for boredom – if it weren’t for the edge in her voice and her ice-cold readiness to walk right over anybody who stands in her way… She’s just as fierce when she’s out to have fun, but one of her joy rides ends in a crash and the juvenile court condemns her to do welfare work in a housing project for disabled people – a preposterous punishment for a girl like her, she thinks. But Kroko (‘crocodile’ in German) soon discovers something in the “spastic” she’s been missing in her everyday life… |
