L'attore Manfred Zapatka legge il discorso che Heinrich Himmler fece, il 4 ottobre del 1943, a 92 generali delle SS riuniti nel castello di Posen in Polonia. Usando una registrazione autentica di quel discorso, reinserendo gli errori che nella trascrizione (diligentemente conservata negli archivi delle SS) erano stati corretti, aggiornando l'uso di certe parole che durante il Nazismo erano state modificate o abolite, il film presenta non solo quel testo ma anche le reazioni e i commenti dei generali in sala molti quali hanno continuato a vivere in Germania e a ricoprire ruoli pubblici, a far parte dell'alta borghesia del paese. The actor, Manfred Zapatka, reads the speech given by Heinrich Himmler before 92 SS generals convened in the castle of Posen in Poland on 4 October 1943. Using a genuine recording of the period, and reinserting the errors that had been corrected in the transcription (diligently preserved in the archives of the SS), and by updating the use of some words that during the Nazi period had been modified or abolished, the film not only presents the text but also the reactions and comments of the generals in the room. Among them, and amongst those who survived the war and did not flee to South America, there are many who continued to live in Germany and hold public office, forming part of the country's upper middle class.
