"Mi interessava questo tipo di geografia fantasmatica, l'ordinarietā e la finitezza del mondo affidata a un flusso continuo e teoricamente istantaneo. Nello stesso tempo, e nello stesso luogo, la mia camera, Londra, Sidney, New York, strade, spettri in movimento, come in 'un viaggio intorno alla (mia) stanza'. La prima intenzione era di sovrapporre, di sovraimprimere, questa specie di universo fluido con un'altra immagine sintetica e vitale, quella lattea, pulsante di un'ecografia. "I was interested in this kind of phantasmatic geography, the ordinariness and finishedness of the world given over to a continuous and theoretically instantaneous flow. At the same time, in the same place, my room, London, Sydney, New York, streets, moving spectres, as if in 'a journey round (my) room'.
