Un'analisi della campagna elettorale che portato alla vittoria del partito di Haider in Austria. Gli slogan e le tecniche usate per convertire in voti sia i malumori e le paure delle classi più svantaggiate, sia l'arrivismo della classe media imprenditoriale. La figura di Jörg Haider viene lasciata volutamente ai margini. Ogni commento viene accuratamente evitato, perché la conclusione sia lasciata allo spettatore.
An analysis of the electoral campaign which led to the victory of Jörg Haider's party in Austria. The film illustrates the slogans and techniques used to convert the fears and anxieties of the most underprivileged classes into votes, as well as the social climbing of the entrepreneurial middle class. The figure of Haider himself is deliberately kept at the margins of the story. All comments are carefully avoided so as to leave the conclusion up to the viewer. |
