Danielle Arbid, di origine libanese ed esperta del mondo arabo, ha camminato per quattro settimane lungo la frontiera israeliana e palestinese tracciando il quadro di una società ferita che l'Occidente si ostina a non vedere e soprattutto a non ascoltare.
"Ho passato 4 settimane, 2 giorni e alcune ore girovagando per un paese che ha due nomi: Israele e/o Palestina. Non ho oltrepassato il confine neanche una volta. Ho guardato il paese attraverso gli occhi di chi sta a guardare dal di fuori, fantasticando, odiando, amando. Il mio film segue il mio vagabondare. In questo modo ciò che emerge è un paese tanto affascinante quanto inacessibile..." (Danielle Arbid)
Danielle Arbid, a Lebanese expert on the Arab world, walked for four weeks along the Israeli and Palestinian border, gaining a picture of a wounded society that the West continues not to see and above all not to hear.
"I spent 4 weeks, 2 days and some hours wandering around a country with two names: Israel and/or Palestine. I did not cross the border even once. I looked at the country through the eyes of someone on the outside looking in, dreaming, hating, loving. My film follows my wanderings.
