Una ragazza di 16 anni, incinta e coperta di lividi, è in fuga da un uomo pericoloso. Arriva in uno sperduto paesino al confine fra la Grecia e la Turchia. Presto si accorge che l'intero paese è una piantagione di marijuana di proprietà dell'uomo da cui sta scappando. Nonostante questo, decide di rimanere. Ma niente sarà più come prima...
Mila ot Mars è un primo esempio di produzione indipendente a basso costo in Bulgaria. È anche il film d'esordio per Sophia Zornitsa e per gran parte del team con cui ha lavorato
A 16 year old girl - pregnant and bruised - is running from a dangerous man. She finds herself in a desolate village near the Greek and Turkish borders. Soon she realizes that the village is an illegal marijuana plantation belonging to the man from whom she is running. But she decides to stay and nothing stays the same anymore.
Mila ot Mars is one of the first low-budget indipendent production in Bulgaria. It's also a film debut for Sophia Zornitsa, as well as for the major part of the crew. |
