Nel 1959, in Romania, sei ex membri della nomenklatura e della polizia segreta organizzarono una rapina alla Banca Nazionale Rumena. Dopo il loro arresto, lo Stato li costrinse a interpretare se stessi in un film che ricostruiva il colpo e le indagini che seguirono. Alla fine del processo, ripreso in diretta, vennero tutti condannati a morte e giustiziati. Un mese dopo usciva un film dal titolo Reconstituirea diretto da Virgil Calotescu (presentato ad Alpe Adria Cinema nel 2001), che divenne subito un caso in tutto il paese.
Dopo 45 anni, il regista Alexandru Solomon ricostruisce questa storia con interviste ai compagni di cella, all’operatore del film di Calotescu, ai vicini e agli agenti della Securitate.
In 1959, in Romania, six former members of the nomenklatura and the secret police organized a hold up of the National Bank. After their arrest, the state forced them to play themselves in a film which reconstituted the crime and the investigation. At the end of their trial, filmed live, they are sentenced to death and executed. A month later, the film Reconstituirea directed by Virgil Calotescu (which was presented in 2001 at Alpe Adria Cinema) was released and became a sensation throughout the country.
Today, after 45 years, Alexandru Solomon reconstruct the reconstruction, incorporating interviews with a former cell mate, the cameraman at the time, neighbours and Securitate agents. |
