Jörg Haider wanted to become an actor, instead he went into politics. Some say that he has never stopped acting. This documentary analyses Haider's success at the last general polls in Austria and points out as well the peculiarity of this new breed of politicians who, no matter the party they belong to, offer themselves as almost non-political leaders to appeal to people's favour.
