Il diciassettenne Murat, un ragazzo turco, vive a Kreuzberg, un quartiere di Berlino, con la madre e il fratello maggiore Osman. A poco a poco sta capendo di essere omosessuale. Girando per la città fa una scoperta incredibile: ha un altro fratello, Lola, che venne cacciato dalla famiglia. Lola è la star di un trio di travestiti turchi che si esibisce in locali gay. È legato al rude Bili, un autentico macho, che insiste perché cambi sesso con un'operazione chirurgica e lo sposi. Una notte, Lola tornando a casa, viene aggredito. Riesce a salvarsi per miracolo fuggendo in taxi. Ma quella stessa notte viene assassinato. Murat e Bilidikid vogliono vendicare la sua morte. I ragazzi che avevano aggredito Lola non hanno via di scampo. Ma solo dopo il massacro Murat capisce chi è il vero colpevole della morte del fratello.
Seventeen-year-old Murat, a Turkish boy, lives in Kreuzberg, a Berlin district, with his mother and elder brother, Osman. Little by little, he begins to understand that he is homosexual. Wandering around the city, he makes an amazing discovery: he has another brother, Lola, who was kicked out of the family. Lola is the star of a trio of Turkish transvestites who appear in gay clubs. He goes out with the tough Bili, a true macho, who insists he changes sex with a surgical operation so they can marry. One night, Lola is attacked on his way home. He saves his skin by fleeing in a taxi, but is murdered the same night. Murat and Bili want to avenge his death. The men who had attacked Lola have no escape. However, only after the massacre does Murat understand who was truly responsible for his brother's death. |
