L'ispirazione è venuta a un concerto del cantante folk Jaromír Nohavica e della band âechomor: Petr Zelenka ancora una volta (dopo le esperienze di Padlock e MÀága - Happy End) è riuscito a fondere realtà e fiction in un'avventura magica e piena di musica, in cui hanno un ruolo anche un finto documentarista olandese, Jan Holman, e il cantante della band inglese Jaz Coleman. Zelenka ha girato il film in diversi posti: in un ricovero per alcolisti, durante i concerti e nei backstage. Quando il cantante folk incontra la band chiede loro di suonare assieme, pensa che potranno aiutarlo a uscire dall'alcolismo. La band pensa che lui li potrà aiutare a diventare famosi. Il regista pensa di aver trovato un buon soggetto per un film. Hanno tutti ragione, riusciranno ad ottenere più di quanto si aspettano
Inspiration came during a concert of the folk singer Jaromir Nohavica and the âechomor band: Petr Zelenka has once again (following the experiences of Padlock and MÀága-Happy End) succeeded in mixing reality and fiction in a magical adventure full of music, in which an invented Dutch documentary-maker, Jan Holman, and the English band singer, Jaz Coleman, also play a part. Zelenka filmed in various locations: in a refuge for alcoholics, during concerts and backstage. When the folk singer meets the band, he asks them to play together, thinking that they will be able to help him drop his alcohol addiction. The band thinks that he will be able to help them become famous. The director thinks he has found a good subject for a film. They are all right, and indeed, managed to get more than they |
