Nicole e Christopher sono due adolescenti di quattordici anni. Lei spera che presto nella sua vita succeda qualcosa di importante e di significativo. Il sogno diventa realtà quando incontra Christopher, uno dei ragazzi più corteggiati del quartiere. Tra i due nasce una storia d'amore. Solitamente si vedono nell'appartamento di Nicole, approfittando del fatto che la madre ha da poco iniziato a lavorare di notte: seduti attorno al tavolo di cucina, giocano a fare la coppia, imitando e mimando i dialoghi, i gesti che attribuiscono al rapporto uomo-donna. Ma ben presto si accorgono che le cose non sono così semplici come possono sembrare all'apparenza. Il film ha vinto l'ultima edizione del Torino Film Festival.
Nicole and Christopher are two fourteen-year-old adolescents. She hopes that something important and meaningful will happen in her life soon. The dream becomes reality when she meets Christopher, one of the most sought-after boys in the district. A love story starts between the two. Usually, they meet in Nicole's apartment, taking advantage of the fact that her mother has recently started working nights. Seated around the kitchen table, they play at being husband and wife, imitating and miming the dialogues, the gestures they attribute to the man-woman relationship. But, very soon, they realise that things are not as simple as they might appear. The film won the last edition of Torino Film Festival. |
