A Sofia è
stato commesso un omicidio: è stato ritrovato un cadavere e il
sospetto, Plamen Goranov, fratello dell’uomo ucciso, viene
trattenuto dalla polizia. Plamen nega tutte le accuse che gli
vengono fatte e dal momento che non ci sono prove certe l’indagine
sta per essere archiviata. Viene allora incaricata delle indagini
una nuova agente: si tratta di Aleksandra Jakimova che ricomincia
tutto daccapo. Durante il giorno interroga interroga i parenti, gli
amici, i colleghi dei due fratelli. Alla fine, di sera interroga
Plamen. La donna non ha molto tempo da dedicare alla famiglia: ha
scelto la solitudine e cerca di superarla lavorando sempre di più.
Anche Plamen è solo, e il burbero uomo comincia a prendere gusto a
incontrare l’agente, solo per il piacere di chiacchierare con lei.
Il film segue il corso delle indagini concentrandosi soprattutto sul
tema della solitudine e su quanto a lungo sia possibile sopportarla.
Miglior film bulgaro al festival di Sofia e Miglior film al festival
di Cottbus.
A murder has been perpetrated in the Bulgarian capital. Parts of a
corpse have been found and the suspect, Plamen Goranov, brother of
the murdered man, has been detained. He denies the charges and since
there is no direct evidence that he has committed the crime the
investigation is about to be cancelled. Then a new investigator is
appointed - Alexandra Yakimova - and she starts everything from
scratch. During the day she interrogates the relatives, friends,
colleagues of the two brothers, at night she interrogates Plamen.
She hasn't got much time left for her family. She has chosen
solitude for herself and she tries to overcome it by more and more
work. Loneliness is eating Plamen too, and the tough man starts
cherishing his encounters with the investigator for the chance to
talk to her. The film follows the course of the investigation
focusing on its main theme - the endurable limits of human solitude.
Best Bulgarian film at the Sofia Film Festival and Main Prize (as
Best Film) at the Cottbus Film Festival.. |
