CONVERSATION WITH VITALY MANSKY
Masterclass
Director, producer and Art Dok Fest artistic director, Vitaly Mansky is one of the most acclaimed documentary filmmaker of Russian and international cinema. Mansky was born in 1963 in Lviv, now Ukraine. In the year 1982 he entered the All-Russian State Institute of Cinematography (VGIK) in Moscow, where he graduated in 1989. Since that time he has shot more than 30 films. His works were presented at more than 500 international film festivals.In 1996 he also started a project that aims at archiving amateur private video files that were shot from 1930 till 1990 in order to preserve a record of life in the former USSR.

WORKSHOP HANDS-ON: MAKING A 360° VIDEO
The workshop, dedicated to everyone, including those with no previous experience of 360∞ videos, aims at showing immersive video filming techniques. Using 360∞ cameras a short video will be made, including all production phases, from planning to shooting, from stitching to editing and finally to publishing.

Masterclass
Director and screewiter, one of the leading personality of the 'Romanian nouvelle vague'. In 2001 he wrote and directed Marfa sii banii. The film won the FIPRESCI Prize in Thessaloniki and the Special Mention of Trieste Film Festival 2002. His second feature, Moartea Domnului Lazarescu, won as the best film of the section Un Certain Regard in Cannes and the 'Trieste Prize' in 2006. He made Aurora in 2010 and Sieranevada in 2016, both premiered in Cannes. In 2004 with Anca Puiu and Alex Munteanu he founded a cinema production company, naming it Mandragora.

WORKSHOP MAREPLURALE

MarePlurale is a project for a gigantic photo mosaic, made up of 5.000 portraits. All portraits are taken on Trieste seafront, with our lovely sea on the background. MarePlurale is involved in Trieste Film Festival with 5 days of shooting and 5 days of editing and digital assemblage of the photo mosaic. I f you want to take part in the filming, come and tell us what the sea means to you from the 20th to 24th January, between 12 pm and 5 pm on the Molo Audace. The project was conceived by the photographer Elio Germani and is performed by the guests of ICS (Italian Consortium of Solidarity), SPRAR and Caritas Trieste.

CONVERSATION WITH MARCO BELLOCCHIO
Marco Bellocchio born in 1939 in Piacenza, is an acclaimed Italian and European film director and screenwriter. In 2011 he received in Venice the Golden Lion for Lifetime Achievent. In 2014 the MoMA in New York dedicated to him a restrospective for the 50 years of his career. Among his film:1965 Fists in the pocket; Awards: Locarno - Silver Sail, 1994 The Butterfly's Dream; awards: Berlinale - Silver Bear, 2003 Good Morning, Night, 2006 The Wedding Director, 2009 Vincere, 2012 Dormant Beauty, 2015 Blood of My Blood.
