VOLEVO UCCIDERE J. L. GODARD di Jan Nĕmec
Book presentation
In 31 chapters, the novel tells the unusual life of the legendary director Jan Nemec, covering a good part of the 20th century, including cinema, censured jazz, beautiful women, the 68’ Cannes film festival that was ‘ruined by Godard’ and a failed American exile. An unpleasant, visionary, sarcastic and self-deprecating character, that is never condescending, always mocking and grotesquely misshapen.
