The CEI Award 2018 of 3,000 euros to the film or personality that best interprets contemporary reality and the dialogue between cultures, the CEI Award goes to Ada Solomon, who in ten years has established herself among the most important producers of Rumania today, supporting with her HiFilm young authors (primarily Radu Jude, of which she produced the entire filmography) and showing special attention to “reality cinema” and historical memory. A woman who has become a fundamental reference for New Rumanian Cinema and for international co-productions.
