NEW ITINERARIES TO DISCOVER TRIESTE

The walk will start from the former Wash-house museum in the San Giacomo district and then continue to the "Casa di Osiride Brovedani" museum. The itinerary will wind through the San Giacomo district in the direction of Porto Nuovo, to visit the Torre del Lloyd, headquarters of the Port System Authority of the Eastern Adriatic Sea, a symbolic site in which to talk about an important part of the city's economy, linked to the Arsenale di Trieste and the shipbuilding industry.

A WALK THROUGH MULTICULTURAL TRIESTE

The walk will begin at the former house, now museum, of Osiride Brovedani, the benefactor better known as ‘el signor Fissan’, before passing through the heart of San Giacomo, stopping at the museum of the former bath house. The itinerary will finish at Piazza Garibaldi in the city centre, a meeting place for people, in the past the working class district and today the place where people are recruited for daily jobs.
