BUON COMPLEANNO, GIANNI RODARI!
 

On the occasion of the centenary of the birth of Gianni Rodari, the festival pays tribute on the big screen to the Italian writer and educator with two masterpieces of animated cinema: Castello di Carte (10', 1962) by Giulio Gianini and Emanuele Luzzati and the timeless La Freccia Azzurra (90', 1996), directed by Enzo D'Alò, with the voices of Dario Fo and Lella Costa, both adapted from stories by Gianni Rodari.
Recommended for ages 4 to 99.

MY PORT GOES TO CINEMA!

Play at being a director with a paper theatre! At the port of Trieste the train whistles, a crane turns and a ship arrives. We will build a small stage in which the different elements will come to life, and when the work is finished we will film these little worlds.

Big surprises await you at the Zoo Party! Twelve animals come on stage and tell their story through sound suggestions, live musical themes and illustrations created in real time and projected on the big screen. Sounds, signs, shapes and colours intertwine to represent the character and originality of the animals. Illustrations by Fabio Magnasciutti, sounds and music by Daniele Dibiaggio and Vincenzo Stera.

The use of the five senses to analyse how a food opens the door to a new world made of colours, aromas, sounds and flavours! Eataly offers children the opportunity to participate in a guided chocolate tasting, to involve them in a “critical” analysis and enable them to recognise and experience scents, tastes and textures. Children will have fun evaluating the chocolate and playing the role of real tasters!
