A charming old lady has to leave her home because her family can’t take care of her anymore. On the way to the elderly care home, a shadow of guilt starts to cover the bright sunny day.
Starring Marina Voica, a very popular Romanian pop singer, Bucharest Seen from Above premiered at the Romanian Days of Transilvania IFF in Cluj.

“This project was born out of love and frustration. I wanted to explore the consequences that our decisions have in our family life. Each decision, no matter its difficulty, can evoke both quietness and disquietness.” (A. Răuțu)

Andrei Răuțu
Romanian film director Andrei Ștefan Răuțu was born in 1986. After attending the NY Film Academy (2011-2012), between 2013 and 2016 he studied film directing at the National University of Theatre and Film “I.L. Caragiale” in Bucharest.
