Vera, an eleven-year-old girl, disappears without a trace. Two years later she returns not as a teenager but as a young woman. She remembers nothing. The parents are upset but the DNA test confirms that it is really her. When memories come back, Vera realizes that she had lived the life of a Chilean man, clinically dead, who, on the other side of the world, had awakened at the same moment in which she had vanished.
Vera de Verdad premiered at the latest Torino Film Festival.

Beniamino Catena
Italian film director, Beniamino Catena was born in 1968 in Ancona, Italy. He graduated in Film History from the University of Bologna and made a number of short films, music videos (for singers, songwriters and groups, including Andrea Bocelli and Laura Pausini) and popular Italian TV series for Mediaset and RAI.
